Instructor Training
This is a 5 day performance development course specifically designed to train you towards your BASI Level 4 ISTD.
The course will improve your own performance level, give you a greater understanding of the link between the Fundamental Elements, the strands beyond the Central Theme and the Performance Threads.
Our aim is to ensure you gain the maximum from the training, and we will provide you with an action plan at the end of each week so you are able to make effective use of your independent training time.
You will receive the highest level of training from our dedicated training team who work together to ensure you are on the right track. There will also be regular video analysis and you will have access to all videos during and after the course.

How We Train
At Connect we offer a comprehensive approach to training for your ski instructor qualifications.
You will receive around 30 hours of on-snow coaching per week and receive a huge range of training for a well-rounded approach. We spend time ensuring that each course is planned to maximize your professional development, giving you the best possible chance of passing your exams. Individual ISTD training weeks will have a technical focus. If you would also like to prepare for your teaching exams, this can be requested and implemented.
Our coaches are all fully certified BASI Trainers, meaning they have reached the highest level of Ski Instruction. This means that you will receive the highest possible level of training. Many of them are also fully qualified in a second or even third system, allowing them to draw on a vast amount of knowledge to help you. We work exclusively with BASI Trainers, who assess and examine Level 1 to 4, to ensure that our training is relevant and up to date. Our coaches have a palpable and visible passion for coaching, ski technique, and helping others realize their potential.
Whatever level you are striving to achieve, our dedicated, experienced and inspirational coaches will guide you towards achieving your goal. We take an individualized approach, listen to our trainees, and ensure that each candidate is getting what they need to succeed.
