At Connect we offer a comprehensive approach to training for your ski instructor qualifications.
Whatever level you are striving to achieve, our dedicated, experienced and inspirational coaches will guide you towards achieving your goal. We take an individualised approach, listen to our trainees, and ensure that each candidate is getting what they need to succeed.
Our team live and work in Zermatt and have done for over a decade. We do not hire 3rd party companies to deliver the training, find accommodation or mentor students, this is all done in-house by us, providing you, the Trainee, with a smooth and joined-up experience from start to finish. You can come to us for all your questions about every aspect of the course, we do not outsource.
OUR COACHES are all fully certified, meaning they have reached the highest level of Ski Instruction in a particular countries Ski Instructor System. Many of them are also fully qualified in a second or even third system, allowing them to draw on a vast amount of knowledge to help you.
We also work with a number of BASI Trainers, who assess and examine Level 1 to 4, to ensure that our training is relevant and up to date. Our coaches have a palpable and visible passion for coaching, ski technique, and helping others realize their potential.
We will improve your technical abilities, there is no doubt there, but in addition to that, we offer a more holistic and well-rounded training pathway designed to help you achieve your full potential as a professional in this industry. We help you become a better ski instructor so that your clients come back year after year and want to ski with you, and only you. This is a special skill that extends beyond your ability to ski a rounded line in the moguls, or cleanly carve down a black run.
In addition to the technical training you will receive, we also run sessions that will develop your teaching skills, expand your communication skills, help you understand what it takes to be a professional, foster your interpersonal and interpersonal skills and and broaden your knowledge on topics linked to snowsports instruction such as Bio-mechanics, Performance Analysis, Pedagogy, Sports Psychology, Fitness and Nutrition.
