Improve your skiing whilst gaining instructor an instructor qualification with our 3 week BASI Level 1 course in Zermatt this Summer.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will have completed all required elements for obtaining your Level 1 Certificate: BASI Level 1 Exam, Child Protection Module, First Aid Course and 35 Shadowing Hours.

Our 3-week BASI Level 1 instructor course is ideal for those looking for a way to spend a the Summer training and living in the Swiss Alps. It is a unique opportunity in Europe that allows you to ski and train high up on the glacier, complete your ski instructing exams, whilst enjoying summer activities in the afternoons and on the weekends. Whether you are on a career break, looking to improve your skiing or thinking about ski instructor as a new career, we can help you achieve your goals.

This course is perfect for those who want to test the water as a ski instructor. Upon completing the Level 1 exam, you will be qualified to teach in an indoor Snowdome or outdoor dry-slope in the UK and after a further 35 hours of shadowing eligible to book onto a Level 2 exam.

Accommodation

Our trainee accommodation is located in a selection of 4* apartments in the centre of town in Haus Dent Blanche. The 4-star house Dent Blanche is located in the most central, yet quiet area of “Old Zermatt” (Hinterdorfstrasse) with the shops, restaurants, cinema, ski bus, mountain lifts and the railway station just a stroll away.

Each apartment is fully equipped and lovingly furnished in alpine style apartments offer a high quality of living.

All apartments are equipped with radio, Smart TV, DVD, Free WIFI, Fully equipped kitchen, Dishwasher, Nespresso machine, Filter coffee machine, Electric kettle, Bed linen, Towels, Bath, Shower, Balcony (furnished), Mountain views, lift in the house.

The house has a ski room with private ski lockers including boot heaters.

You will receive accommodation in a shared twin room for the full duration of your course included in the price of your course.
